getting started 2011

So I know it's been a LONG while since I've posted any news from the gardens... And really since then a few changes have happened as well. The program is now overseen by the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank and I am full time in Fredericksburg working not only on gardening things, but also on a Mobile Pantry Program, a Retail Store Donation Program AND all Food Drives. ok. that's a lot. as for the gardens....

we're planning to work in four at this point with a possible 5th depending on the site's commitment. And I am gearing up to assist my hubby with building a greenhouse on site so that we can begin plant propagation right here on site.. thank you seed starting classes! I will now put you all to work.

I recently had a group of college students assist in building us some tables for the greenhouse. Super exciting too. It was ultra cold but the group was a bunch of real troopers. (i'll post photos soon)
So back to things here, but I wanted to give a super quick update.
